Prof. Han-Bo-Ram (Boram) Lee

Professor Han-Bo-Ram Lee received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from POSTECH and conducted postdoctoral research in Chemical Engineering at Stanford University. He joined Incheon National University in 2013 and earned tenure in 2022. Since 2018, he has served as Associate Editor and later Executive Editor of Chemistry of Materials (ACS). His research focuses on understanding surface chemical reactions in atomic layer deposition (ALD) and applying this knowledge to novel material synthesis and semiconductor fabrication, supported by theoretical modeling using density functional theory (DFT), Monte Carlo simulations, and deep learning. Professor Lee has delivered over 125 invited talks at major semiconductor companies and international conferences. He organized the Area-Selective Deposition (ASD) Workshop in 2023 and serves as Chair of the International Conference on ALD (ALD/ALE 2025).
