Zhenghong Sui 隋正红

Dr. Zhenghong Sui, Professor of Ocean University of China, research fields including: phycological molecular biology and genetic breeding; molecular genetics and genomics. She was vice president of Phycological Branch of Chinese Oceanology and Limnology Association (2007-2024), as well as is the member of 7^th National Aquaculture Stock and Variety Authority Committee, member of Chinese Algaculture Specialist Committee, editorial board of Marine Biotechnology and Journal of Fishery Science. She investigated into algal molecular biology and genetic breeding of Gracilaria / Gracilariopsis species, focused on regulation mechanism studies of economic red algae especially Gracilariopsis lemaneiformis, developednational cultivar with traits of fast growth and outstanding quality. Recently she led team working on the establishment of genetic transformation system of Gracilariopsis lemaneiformis.
