  • Pulmonary Vascular

Post hoc analysis of a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial, “Inhaled Treprostinil Dosage in Pulmonary Hypertension Associated With Interstitial Lung Disease and Its Effects on Clinical Outcomesopens in new tab/window,” finds inhaled treprostinil at a dose of ≥9 breaths per session, four times daily, resulted in less clinical worsening and more clinical improvement.   • Thoracic Oncology

Looking at 7,369 actively smoking patients, “Factors Associated With Smoking Cessation Attempts in Lung Cancer Screeningopens in new tab/window” concludes pharmacologic treatment to aid in smoking cessation is effective and recommends it to be offered to all patients who smoke during lung cancer screening.
