Wei Wei

Wei Wei, Ph.D., is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), where he serves as Director of the Key Laboratory of Biopharmaceutical Preparation and Delivery. His research pioneers biomimetic formulation engineering, focusing on innovative preparation processes and the novel design of biomimetic carriers. Dr. Wei has published over 110 SCI papers, including three papers in Cell and Nature, and 22 in CNS sub-journals. He holds 22 authorized patents, with six formulations currently in Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT). A recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, his work has earned prestigious accolades, including the SCEJ Award for Outstanding Asian Researcher and the First Prize of the Beijing Natural Science Award, significantly advancing the field of biomimetic medicine.
